Productions and Co-Productions

In LSPG we truly believe in the power of independent filmmaking as the most powerful way to create successful storytelling and portray it into films.

We are excited to work with artists and creators who can write, direct and produce amazing stories, both in fiction or documentary format and deliver those to the audience: for us, the ultimate referee that counts when we screen our projects.

LSPG embraces the pure freedom of art, the real craftsmanship and the tradition of telling stories as essential and primary elements of what we feel is the most complete form of art: the 7th one, cinema.

Tales of the Sea

Lost at sea, two young men must work together to survive.

That Click

"That Click" is a documentary about legendary photographer Douglas Kirkland that with his camera portrayed sixty years of pop culture ranging from photojournalism to celebrity portraits, from film photography to global events. After taking some of the most iconic photos of Marilyn Monroe, with his unique style and approach he described fashion, celebrities and show business with immortal images that still influence us today.

Calypso

In a desert dystopia, a modern Ulysses wakes up with no memory of his past in the arms of a shamanic Calypso. As his memories resurface he struggles to understand if she is helping him or keeping him captive.

The Invisible Girl

A queer spin inspired by Mary Shelley's The Invisible Girl, told through the eyes of Henrietta and her lost love, Rosina.

The Fence

An unusual couple, Leszek and Mikolaj, move into a stud farm that one of them inherited form his father. When Mikolaj discovers that someone has destroyed their wooden fence, he becomes obsessed with fixing it. Yet, can the fence really protect this relationship from a hostile environment?

Vuja De

This film is mostly an homage to the French New Wave movement in cinema (La Nouvelle Vague) which emerged in the late 50's. There's almost direct quotes from movies like "Pierrot Le Fou", "Vivre Sa Vie" etc. which have subtly been used just to give the intention of it. We can call it a romantic, mumblecore - comedy, with some meta moments. There is not a strictly followed plot, or the typical distinct beginning or end, which leaves the impression of emotional freedom and vital for the movie- visual style. The emphasis is on the argument between the two main characters, in a way competing to prove whose nationality is more impressive, with the direct question "Which is better? French or Italian?" Building upon improvisation throughout the entire process, it feels more like we are witness to a lively relationship between a young boy and girl, who seem to be having a never-ending argument.

The Happiness Family

From Italy to America for love and business: the story of Michael Scarpellini and his family is at the center of The Happiness Family, the docu-reality show broadcasted on MTV. Six episodes that recount the life, loves and ambitions of the boy who, some time ago, decided to move from Rimini to Los Angeles pursuing his dream and transforming the family business into a fashion house.
